Abstract
The Four Freshmen Collection includes music scores, audio, ephemera and other materials related to the Four Freshmen musical group that was started by four Butler University students in 1947. The Four Freshmen are no longer based at Butler; since their founding, there have been more than 25 different members, and they continue to entertain audiences.

Scope and Contents
This collection was created and donated by three alumni of the Jordan College of Music Dance Department class of 1962-Dixie Durr, Rebecca Obenauf, and Elizabeth Crall. Originally, the collection was organized into a series of manila envelopes, a plastic standing file, four notebooks (two steno, one hardback and one three-ring binder), and a large scrapbook.
