This collection includes poetry written or collected by Bette Richart, correspondence, and other materials related to her life and career. Richart was a 1940 graduate of Butler University who experienced significant mobility issues due to a childhood illness. From surgery, Richart regained mobility of one of her arms and became a published poet.
