Twenty-nine interviews conducted by Butler University English professor Donald Braid, Margaret Brabant, Director of the Center for Citizenship and Community at Butler University, and Butler University students with residents of the Butler-Tarkington Neighborhood in 2001 and 2002.

This collection consists of audiocassettes and transcriptions of interviews conducted by Donald Braid and Margaret Brabant of Butler University’s Center for Citizenship and Community with individuals involved in Butler’s Creative Options for Reaching Excellence (CORE) Program serving Crispus Attucks Middle School.
