The Alice Bidwell Wesenberg Papers include Wesenberg's published poems in draft, typescript, and print; Alice and Thor Wesenberg’s translations; Wesenberg’s unpublished poems in draft and typescript, with a final manuscript submitted for publication, and two reviewers’ lengthy notes; scholarly articles, course outlines, and notes for seminars to be taught by Wesenberg. In addition, the collection includes letters, photographs, and books from Wesenberg’s library. This collection was donated to Special Collections by Butler English professor Allegra Stewart, who purchased the collection from Wesenberg’s estate following her death.
