This collection includes six bound notebooks belonging to Myron G. Miller from the 1927-1929 academic year. They are composed of notes and materials from classes such as organic chemistry, medical biology, and other pharmaceutical topics when he was a student at the Indianapolis College of Pharmacy, the precursor of Butler University’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and the Indianapolis College of Pharmacy was originally founded in 1904 as a department of Winona Technical Institute in Indianapolis. It also includes a couple of Miller’s report cards, a form with questions from the Indiana Board of Pharmacy, certifications for Miller as a registered pharmacy assistant and a registered pharmacist, a newspaper clipping of his graduation, and an undated photo of Miller with the Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Butler University.
