This collection includes a beige knit Butler University V-neck sweater. It has a large blue “B” patch on the front, as well as three blue stripes on the right sleeve. Also included is a color picture of the sweater on printer paper, although it appears white in the picture rather than beige, and a Butler University Basketball schedule for 1931-1932 from The Campus Club.

The collection was donated by Judy Horst, Butler class of 1962; Ms. Horst’s mother, Josette Yelch, graduated from Butler in 1934 while her father, Edmund C. Horst, graduated from the Indianapolis College of Pharmacy in 1936. Original repository accession paperwork indicates that the sweater is a men’s letter sweater; it is presumed to have belonged to Edmund Horst.
