 File — Box: 1, Folder: 1

Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

This collection contains a scrapbook with “Stories to Write: A Novel by L.E. Ross” handwritten on the cover. It contains newspaper clippings and several editions of “Convention News” by the Indiana Congress of Parents and Teachers. Some of the earlier newspaper clippings are from the Butler Collegian and showcase Louise Eleanor Ross Kleinhenz’s work on the student newspaper; it also includes clippings of articles that she wrote later in her career, including for the Marion County Mail. Most of the newspaper clippings have a handwritten date on them and some include comments by Ross Kleinhenz in the margins. The collection also contains a couple of separate clippings – one regarding the Scarlet Quill with a picture of Ross Kleinhenz and Butler professor Alice Bidwell Wesenberg and the other is “Postscript”, the paper for the 25th year reunion of her Butler class, of which Ross Kleinhenz was the editor. In addition, one folder houses photographs of the Butler campus as well as multiple group photographs of the Chimes Sweetheart Dinners.
