GS Activities, 1975-1979
Scope and Contents
This collection contains materials relating to the Butler Troop of Campus Girl Scouts. This includes numerous invitations to regional conferences, directions/maps, correspondence between different troops, and many registration forms for activities, conferences, and camporees. There is also the result of a questionnaire the Butler Troop sent out asking other campus troops how they deal with low membership and how to get that membership up. Fundraising and finance items are also within this collection. This includes cookie order forms and some cookie sale plan booklets. Several receipts, presumably the payment for cookies, are also included and there are spending records kept that correspond to different activities and their materials. Additionally, there are different magazine-type items that contain Girl Scout News, both local and regional. There are a few small booklets containing information about why and how to organize a campus Girl Scout troop. Finally, there are different sections from the “test” of what girls needed to fill out in order to receive their “Trail Blazer” patch.
