This collection includes the published papers of Butler University chemist and botanist Fay Kenoyer Daily. It also includes materials prepared for presentations, correspondence, and biographical material related to Butler University botany faculty. There is documentation in Special Collections indicating that previous staff augmented this collection; the documentation is minimal and does not describe what may have been added and why.

Biographical Note
While Kay Kenoyer Daily was her professional name, to her family she was known as Eva Fay Daily (née Kenoyer). Kay Kenoyer Daily was born in 1911 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated from Butler University Magna Cum Laude in 1935 and received her master’s degree in 1952. She taught botany at Butler University for many years and worked for the Eli Lilly Company. Kay Kenoyer Daily passed away in Indianapolis in 2011.
