Scope and Contents
This collection consists of a scrapbook compiled by Florence Elizabeth Wood, a Butler College (now Butler University) graduate in 1918. It is a book with “The Girl Graduate: Her Own Book” embossed in gold on the cover. The scrapbook includes labeled photographs, newspaper clippings and issues of the Butler Collegian, dance cards, invitations and other ephemera, commencement and an alumni day program, congratulatory correspondence on her graduation, writings about Florence’s experience as a Butler student, sections of the Butler Alumnal Quarterly and more.
