Historical Note
The Parents’ Association appears to have started as the Dad’s Association, an organization meant to encourage the interest of fathers of Butler students in the lives of their children. At some point, the association transitioned into a Parents’ Association not just the dads. The purpose of the organization stayed the same. The purpose of the Butler University Parents’ Association is to encourage active interest of parents (or guardians) of Butler students in the activities and growth of Butler University, in order that they may better share and contribute to the continued development of their children.
