Notes taken by Butler University Dance student Sally Meeker Moore in classes by Professor of Dance Betty Gour. They are divided into three sections: Novelty Dances, Ethnic Dances, and Spanish Dances; many of the notes include copies of the music the dances were set to.

Biographical Note

Sally Meeker Moore graduated from Butler in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance.

Betty Gour was a professor of Dance at Butler from the mid-1960s until her retirement in the mid-1980s.
