Scope and Contents

Oral history interviews conducted by Professor Donald Braid, Hanako Gavia, and students to document the life and relationships of Etheridge Knight. Interviewees include members of Etheridge Knight's family, such as his sisters Clyneese Knight and Janice Knight-Mooney, nephews Tony and Floyd Knight, Jr., niece Teruko Knight-Gavia, and poetry scholar Terrance Hayes.
