From the Collection:
This collection is composed of the published papers of David Starr Jordan. He writes primarily on the topic of fish species and has several co-authors. Over half of the papers concern fish in Japanese waters. David Starr Jordan taught zoology at Butler University and then served as the president of Indiana University before becoming Stanford University’s first president.
